How it works:
One of the most striking signs of skin aging is the increased wrinkling of the face. This can occur naturally over time and is identified by certain biochemical, histological and physiological changes that are enhanced by environmental exposure. There are other secondary factors that can cause characteristic folds, furrows and creases of the face. These include the constant pull of gravity, frequent and constant positional pressure of the skin of the face (e.g. during sleep) or repeated facial movements caused by the contraction of the muscles of facial expression (expression lines).In any of the above cases, the molecular mechanism involved in facial aging is directly related to a change (degradation) in the collagen and elastin structures and it has been established that these changes can be significantly avoided by modulating the muscle contraction. The muscle contraction mechanism is a complex one. Simply put, ARGIRELINE® mimics an action of a complex in the muscular contraction pathway, and prevents the release of a neurotransmitter that causes muscle contraction. It is a ternary complex formed by the proteins VAMP, Syntaxin and SNAP-25 (SyNaptosomal Associated Protein)
Clinical Test:
Pure 10% ARGIRELINE® solution was applied around the eyes of 10 healthy women volunteers, for a period of 30 days of twice a day application.
Application of Argireline DEP 10%:
This intensive solution is formulated oil-free and in an infusible base, to achieve quick and deeper penetration especially with transdermal devices. For best effect, concentrate the application on areas with deep folds of the skin.
